niagara poems continued

in the' maid of the mist 'wrapped in blue cloaks
we sat feeling the thrill of life
nothing but beauty
nothing but joy
nothing but ecstasy
the  mist hid everything else
moistened by the mist
and the tears in our eyes
we sat feeling the love of life.

from far away i come ,
but brother ,in you  i see myself  too
eating a burger near the falls
paying in dollars
listening to gull calls
feeling the caress of the cool air
far away from home i am
in a place so different
but still just the same.

at the falls
i see couples kissing,
couples loving,
under the arch of the rainbow ,
with spray drops at their brow,
hugging till eternity,
at the niagara falls
